The Wash and Vac is a quick interior and exterior hand cleaning. The outside is hand washed, wheel wells, rims and tires cleaned and dressed, paint hand dried and some trim dressed. The inside is vacuumed including the trunk and wiped with a damp cloth, rubber or vinyl mats are washed and the windows are polished.
The Wash and Vac takes 1 hour and costs $49.95 for cars. It costs $59.95 for cross-overs, suvs, mini-vans and trucks.
The Wash and Vac is by appointment only, please plan ahead as we book-up in the spring. We don't offer a customer shuttle or pick-up/delivery. We accept cheques, cash, interac, master card and VISA. Step by Step Explanation of the Wash and Vac
The Wash and Vac begins with removing rubber/vinyl mats from the vehicle and hanging them on the wall for cleaning. They are sprayed with a cleaner and pressure-washed during the wash process. Then left to dry while the car is cleaned.
The wash process begins with spraying the paint with a pre-soak detergent designed to loosen dirt, front facing surfaces such as the windshield, front bumper and mirrors are sprayed with a special bug remover solution that breaks-down bugs so that they can be pressure washed away without aggressive scrubbing. The tires are sprayed with a white wall cleaner and the rims are sprayed with a break dust remover. The vehicle is rinsed with high pressure water to remove grit and grime from the paint, then the vehicle is gently hand washed with special care using 100% Lambs Wool wash mitts, and then thoroughly rinsed with high pressure water. The rims are cleaned by hand, tires and white walls are scrubbed with a vinyl brush then rinsed with high pressure water, including the wheel wells. The extent of our under carriage cleaning is only the visible sections through the wheel wells. Then the car is carefully towel dried with clean cotton terry bath towels, no chamois are ever used.

The carpets, seats, rear cargo areas and trunk are vacuumed. We employ an extremely high powered drum mounted vacuum to extract all dirt, debris and pet hair. We work around the car in a counter clock-wise manner starting with the driver's side. Mats are vacuumed where they lay and lifted to vacuum underneath. We cannot guarantee to completely remove debris and pet hair to the extent of a Complete Detail but our powerful vacuum and the time we dedicate to vacuuming are sure to exceed any vacuuming that the customer could do in their drive-way or at a coin-op car wash.
A damp cloth is used to wipe all the interior hard surfaces like doors, dash and console including wiping leather seats. This damp cloth wipe can clean most spills or dust from these surfaces but because we have limited time and the wash and vac is not a detail we cannot guarantee to completely remove all spills or dust from interior surfaces. After the damp cloth wipe these surfaces are left to dry then buffed with a soft flannel cloth to eliminate any streaks.
The rims and tires are hand dried then dressed with a silicone-free high gloss tire dressing. Some lower trim such as black plastic valences and mud flaps are dressed. The windows are cleaned inside and out with a tint-safe window cleaner then hand polished with a soft flannel cloth. The rubber/vinyl mats are then returned to the vehicle and the vehicle is deodorized with a fresh scent.
We do not remove contents of the vehicle, we work around them. If there is time remaining we may address detailing issues such as tar removal, more extensive trim dressing or spot- stain removal but these services should in no-way be considered included in the Wash and Vac.
